The brick structure of Alta Star Harbor was designed nearly 100 years ago, and still stands today as the exterior facade. The historically significant site pays homage to the former occupant Del Monte with odes sprinkled throughout the community, and references to the former distribution warehouse.
With a focus on curating salvaged materials and an emphasis on modern design, Alta Star Harbor has enhanced Alameda’s charm, while providing residents with all the luxurious amenities of the big city. The spaces are light and airy and exude a thoughtful timelessness. The restoration of industrial windows, and addition of vast new amounts of glass create an ageless space with a softened industrial and layered vibe. Neutral tones abound, with pops of contrast and saturation that further beautify the spaces. Alta Star Harbor feels historically relevant and intentionally elevated.
