LOGE Glacier Inn, formerly the Izaak Walton Inn, is a remarkable fusion of history and contemporary design located in Essex, Montana, at the entrance to Glacier National Park. Originally built in 1939 for Great Northern Railway workers, the inn has a rich legacy that attracts adventurous visitors seeking connection and nostalgia. The recent renovation pays homage to its storied past while rejuvenating the space for a new generation of travelers, featuring repurposed cabooses as unique lodging options. The refreshed interior blends old and new, showcasing historic artwork alongside vibrant contemporary pieces, creating an energetic lobby where seasoned guests mingle with newcomers headed for outdoor adventures.
